On a wheelchair? Not a problem, there’s a bike for you!

March 30, 2010

The United Kingdom is the first country in the world where a motorbike has been manufactured for people on a wheelchair. This is absolutely unique and gives an opportunity for everyone to enjoy riding a motorcycle.

You don’t need to get off your wheelchair or anything, the bike is large enough to accomodate it, and you may not need a helmet depending on where you ride.

We wonder what Westminster City Council’s parking department in London would say and do if the British blue badge population started to use this bike. Oh dear, what a massive impact that bike would have on Westminster’s so pressured and valued kerb space. It’s not just £1 a day that the council would steal from motorcyclists, but at least £4 per hour, like for a car! Let’s stop them treating bikers like cash cows!
